Product Marketing

Product Marketing means to simply use the product publicly and to let people ask you about it. This is a very simple, effective way to generate leads for your business and have people come to you instead of you having to chase them.

Here are some great places to use the product to generate leads:

  • at the gym while working out
  • at a party
  • at a bar
  • at a sporting event/competition

Basically, anywhere there are a lot of people around who fit into one of our main target markets will suffice.

When you use the product, just make sure to not be shy about it so that people can see what you are doing. If you see someone looking at you funny, use that as an opening to start a simple conversation. Here are some conversation starters that might be effective:

  • Don't worry, it's not hair spray... it's oxygen in a can. Check it out.
  • I can tell by the look on your face that you've never seen this product before. It's like an oxygen bar in a can. Check it out.
  •  Want some?

Just be fun and creative so that people will open up to you and be willing to hear more.

Working the lead:

Once you get someone's interest, don't go through a long sales pitch. Simply tell them about all the basic uses for the product and tell them you can send them some info by email if they are interested. We also recommend that you give them a good reason to want to go to the website like... "on the website you can check out all the elite athletes using the product and hear what they have to say"... or "the website gives a lot of great information on how to use the product for all the different applications"... or "the website really explains well why oxygen is so important to the human body."

REMEMBER TO ALWAYS TRY TO GET THEIR CONTACT INFORMATION FIRST before offering your contact information. If you just give the person your business card first, you run the risk of them losing your card or you run the risk of them just forgetting about it even if they are genuinely interested. By getting their info, it ensures that you have a way to send them the necessary information and that you have means to follow up with them. This is key.
