Sales Tips
Here are some sales tips to help you be more effective at introducing Oxygen4Energy to new people.
Ask Questions to Find Out What They Want
Before you go into a 30 minute rant about how good this product is, we recommend that you ask your prospect what attracted them to the product. No one wants to sit through a long sales presentation that doesn't cater to what they want to know. Here is a great way to start the conversation:
So tell me... what was it about Oxygen4Energy that caught your interest and how do you see it benefitting you?
When you do bring up details about the product, do so in a manner which conveys a desire to help them; in other words, AFTER you have listened to and learned as much as possible about the prospect's needs and wants, tell your prospect that you may have a solution to their problems or a way to satisfy their wants. Avoid using too much assertiveness and avoid bringing up complicated technical/scientific specifics about the product right away. After you have gone through the previous steps of showing that you understand the prospect's situation, invite them to view promotional material targeted to the market most relevant to your prospect.
Establish Common Ground / Repoire
Make an effort to show your prospect that you are interested in them and in what they have to say. Find what you have in common with the person. When you have identified an area of commonality, share relevant information about yourself (e.g., your personal, school or professional background, etc.) to enforce that sense of connection between you and the prospect.
Show That You Understand Their Needs
Throughout the conversation confirm and reconfirm with your prospect that you understand what they are looking for; remember, your approach should be all about helping your prospect with their individual wants and needs. The questions you ask should demonstrate an understanding of your prospect's unique situation.
Avoid Giving Away Product for Free
When people don't pay for something, they typically won't treat it with respect. That's why giving away free product isn't the most effective way to build your business. If you want to offer someone a discount to try the product, that's fine. At least they have something at stake and will most likely give it an honest try.
